I am engaged in the analysis of appeal of investments in various countries. One of these days I have found the following very useful information. The company "Mercer Human Resourse Conslating" has made a research of cost of a life in various cities of the Europe. On the first place on cheapness there was German Leipzig, and on the second - the Cyprian Limassol. The leader of "cheapness" of the last year - the capital of Romania Bucharest is on third place this year. About Romania all is clear -for long time there have been directed huge investments of the Europe which led to rough construction of new factories, modernization and expansion of old manufactures. As a result has grown not only the amount of workplaces, but also a level of salaries. And certainly the life has risen up. And because of what on the second position is Limassol on Cyprus - for me is a mystery. Probably investors have turned the looks on other countries and the large building companies have lowered the quotations to keep a level of construction at a first level. But that fact, that the cost of the real estate on Cyprus grows from year to year - this fact very strongly influences the cost of life in negative part. This summer I rented three cyprus villas at some friends in Protaras area. I had a very good vacation and also could compare the prices on consumer products and gasoline. Prices grow:) Probably, not so fast, as in other cities of Europe.:)
